A review of the genus Isometopus (Hemiptera: Miridae: Isometopinae) in Korea

In this article, we reviewed the genus Isometopus in Korea. Among them, one species Isometopus rugiceps Kerzhner, 1988 is reported for the first time from Korea. Diagnostic characters of the species are discussed, with the adult including the female genitalic structures. In addition, a key to the Korean species of the genus Isometopus is given •Isometopus rugicepsKerzhner, 1988 is newly recorded from the Korean Peninsula for the first time.•A total of 3 species of the plant bug of the subfamily Isometopinae are currently known from the Korean Peninsula.•Diagnosis for female I. rugiceps is provided with keys to species of Korean Isometopus.
