원예 치료가 개방 병동 정신 분열증 환자의 정신 건강 및 사회 적응력에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 정신분열증 환자들을 대상으로 정신건강 및 사회적응력에 미치는 원예치료의 효과를 알아보고자 실시하였다. 자아존중감 및 인간관계측정에서 모두 유의하게 향상된 것을 볼 수 있다. 사회행동척도를 보면 대화의 내용에서는 유의한 결과를 보이지는 않았지만 언어적인 면과 비언어적인 면에서는 유의하게 향상된 결과를 보였다. 간이정신건강진단지 평가를 보면 우울증, 편집증, 정신증 부분에서는 유의하게 호전된 결과를 볼 수 있었다. 또한 대인예민성, 불안감, 적대감, 공포 불안 등에서 호전된 것으로 보였지만 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 원예활동 평가에서는 참여성, 자아개념 및 주체성, 인지 및 문제 해결능력, 운동자각능력, 숙련도와 직업적응력은 유의하게 향상된 것을 볼 수 있다. 이상의 결과로부터 원예치료 프로그램이 우울 및 폐쇄적인 대인관계를 보이는 정신분열증 환자들에게 심리적, 정서적안정 뿐만 아니라 사회적응력에 효과적이라고 판단되었다. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of horticultural therapy (HT) on the improvement of mental health and social adaptability of schizophrenic patients. Significant effectiveness could be seen in the evaluation of self-esteem and interpersonal relationship. In terms of social behavior scale, there was no significant effectiveness in the substance of conversation. However, effectiveness was improved in terms of verbal and non-verbal areas. Symptom checklist -90- revision evaluation shows a significant improvement in somaticization disorder, obsessive-compulsive, depression, paranoid ideation and psychoticism areas. In evalution of HT, there wes a significant improvement in participation, self-concept and identity, condition and problem solving, exercise perceptivity and life-tasks skill and vocational adjustment. As of the results above, HT program was found to be very effective in psychological stabilization and in social adaptability of schizophrenic patients who tend to be depressed and locked out from human relationship.
