착색단고추 묘의 이식방법이 정식 후 생육과 수량에 미치는 영향

착색단고추의 육묘 시 이식방법이 묘소질에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 착색단고추 적색품종인 스피리트(Spirit)를 공시하여 1999년 9월 1일부터 2000년 6월 30일까지 시험을 수행하였다. 이식방법은 묘를 암면블럭에 똑바로 이식하는 I-type, 90도로 꺾어서 암면플러그를 옆으로 뉘어서 이식하는 L-type, 그리고 묘의 지제부를 암면블럭에 감싸듯이 180도 구부려 뿌리가 위를 향하도록 이식하는 U-type의 3방법으로 하였다. 초장은 U-type이 I-type보다 짧았는데, 특히 제1엽까지의 길이가 짧아졌으며 엽수는 U-type이 L-type에 비해 많고 엽면적은 U-type이 I-type에 비해 넓어지고 생체중이 무거워 U-type의 방법이 가장 유리한 것으로 나타났다. 정식 후 포장에서의 생육과 과실특성 등은 처리 간에 차이가 없었다. 수량에서 U-type은 초기와 후기수량 모두 다른 처리에 비해 많았고 전체 수량에서도 9,447kg/10a로 가장 높았다. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of transplanting method of seedlings on the growth and yield of paprika (Capsicum annum cv. Spirit) cultivated in rockwool. Three methods of transplanting the seedlings were tested with rockwool culture : transplanting upright position in rockwool block (I-type), bending the seedlings 90°(L-type) and bending the seedlings 180°to face the roots upward position (U-type). The height of seedlings was shorter at U-type than I-type, especially the stem length to the first leaf was shortest at U-type. The number of leaf was more at U-type than L-type, and the leaf area was wider at U-type than I-type. U-type gave the highest yield of 9,447kg/10a. KCI Citation Count: 11
