Zusammenfassung:This study was conducted to develop an optical system of light-emitting diode (LED) sports lighting based on National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 2 H × 2 V, which is the outdoor lighting standard proposed by the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. First, a single lens was designed, and its diameter was verified using optical simulation, while its shape was verified for suitability by changing the k value of its length. Next, optical simulation was conducted for an arrangement of 390 lenses of 350 W. The simulation demonstrated the changes in light distribution, candela, and illuminance of the lenses. Finally, the optical performance of a 350 W lens was measured and the optical system based on such lenses was found to satisfy the NEMA 2 H × 2 V standard. During the experiment, the error rate of the optical simulation was considered. KCI Citation Count: 0
