Zusammenfassung:In this research work, the effect of plasma treatment on cotton fabric prior to in-situ polymerization of polypyrroleis studied. Cotton woven fabric samples are, individually, pre-treated with argon and nitrogen plasma. Samples that were pretreatedwith argon plasma and then subjected to in-situ polymerization of polypyrrole show higher conductance incomparison with the sample pre-treated with nitrogen plasma. This is attributed to the increased interfacial bonding of thepyrrole ring with the argon functional groups. KCI Citation Count: 0
