Zusammenfassung:[Display omitted] Bambusae Caulis in Taeniam extract (BCT) was loaded in monoolein cubosome including decanoyl alginate and decanoyl gelatin. The cubosome exhibited a suppressed release at an acidic condition. Carcinogenic fine dust induced-cell (RAW 264.7 cell) death was prevented more effectively by cubosomal BCT than by free BCT. When the cell stimulated with dust was treated with cubosomal BCT, the prostaglandin E2 expression was suppressed as much as when treated with dexamethasone. The internalization of cubosome into cells, confirmed by confocal laser scanning microscopy, would account for the efficacy of cubosomal BCT to relieve the fine dust-induced inflammatory response.
