Zusammenfassung: | [...]the paper follows the behavior of Korean floating voters to ascertain whether or not they have changed their minds between the presidential election and the national assembly election. To do so, the paper aims to classify the various types of floating voters in the Korean context by the dimensions of ideology and the degree of floating. Since it is helpful to give a concrete definition to the general phrase of "floating voters," the article also incorporates a description of the various paths of floating in the electoral process. If that is the case, voters are likely to be indecisive about their voting preferences until right before the election date. [...]floating voters in this article refers to those who have changed supporting political parties during consecutive panel surveys conducted in two electoral periods. First of all, the three candidates who received the highest numbers of votes in the presidential election were selected. |
