Brucella abortus에 의한 화농성 고관절염 -증례 보고

인체 브루셀라증은 브루셀라속 세균에 감염된 동물로부터 사람으로 전파되어 다양한 임상증세를 나타내는 인수공통 감염증으로 전 세계적으로 발생하고 있다. 우리나라에서는 주로 소 브루셀라의 원인균인 Brucella abortus에 의한 인체감염이 매년 증가하고 있으나 브루셀라균에 의한 화농성 고관절염은 아직까지 국내에서 보고된 바 없다. 저자들은 좌측 고관절 동통과 파행을 주소로 내원한 축산업에 종사하는 40세 남자환자의 관절액에서 균배양 및 혈액내 브루셀라 유전자 직접 검출로 B. abortus에 의한 화농성 고관절염을 국내에서 처음으로 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Brucellosis is a glbally distributed zoonotic infection of the Brucella genus that can involve multiple tissue and organ. In Korea, Brucellosis is caused mainly by B. abortus. but there is no reported case of pyogenic hip joint infection due to Brucella infection in Korea. The authors report a rare case of B. abortus infection in a 40-year-old male cattle breeder male who presented with septic arthritis of the hip joint as the first clinical manifestation.
