Zusammenfassung: | The production cross section of the Υ(1S) in
pp
collisions at
s
= 5.02 TeV has been studied based on the measurements of the Υ(1S) production cross sections at
s
= 2.76 and 7 TeV by CMS Collaboration. By carrying out the interpolation analysis we evaluate the Υ(1S) production cross section at mid-rapidity, and both the rapidity and transverse momentum distributions of the Υ(1S), Υ(2S), and Υ(3S) production cross sections at
s
= 5.02 TeV. The FONLL analysis is also discussed for the above distributions of the bottomonia production cross sections. We show that the predictions by the interpolation analysis for the bottomonia production cross sections agree well with the CMS preliminary results in
pp
collisions at
s
= 5.02 TeV, and therefore insist that the interpolation technique would be helpful in predicting the Υ(1S), Υ(2S), and Υ(3S) production cross sections at various collision energies in
pp
collisions. |
