Zusammenfassung:Cobalt and copper nanoparticles (NPs) were prepared by using 2-propanol in the presence of Bombyx mori chitosan to reduce the metals. The structural and the optical measurements show that chitosan molecules prevent the agglomeration and oxidation of the metal nanoparticles. The concentration of chitosan was shown to have a strong influence on the size and the distribution of NPs in a polymeric matrix.
