Study on the Optimization of a Temperature SensorBased on SAW Delay Line

Zusammenfassung:SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) sensors having single and double electrodes are prepared on 128 YX-LiNbO3 substrate. The frequency responses of each SAW sensor with temperature change are compared. The shifts of center frequencies of the 3-dB and 20-dB bandwidth are measured for both electrodes. Since the shifts of center frequency with temperature change from က 30 C to 80 C change linearly, the SAW sensor is usable as a temperature sensor. In future work, a study on the minimization of insertion loss and ripple of passband is needed, to ensure high accuracy and reliability for application to a wireless sensor. KCI Citation Count: 3
