Zusammenfassung: | There have been many reported problems associated with the response time of a liquid crystal
display (LCD) display, typically termed as an afterimage seen especially when a motion picture
video is being played. To reduce afterimage artifacts, we propose a new `overdrive' method, named
Response Time Acceleration (RTA), in this paper. The proposed new overdrive method eectively
controls truncation errors, quantization errors, and fully non-accelerated errors present in conventional
overdrive methods. Furthermore, video image quality is dramatically improved by utilizing
only a few incremental gates.P? KCI Citation Count: 1 |
