Zusammenfassung: | System-on-a-chip (SOC) designs need to support various memory access types, such as a single
transfer and a burst transfer with dierent transfer sizes, different access lengths, and both types
of endian. This paper presents the SOC design, S3C4520, that is applicable to network equipment
with a system manager to support various memory access types. Especially this paper explains
how the system manger of this SOC design supports a pseudo SDRAM burst operation. Also, the
system manager of this SOC design is evaluated by using an analytical model in terms of memory
access time. KCI Citation Count: 2 |
