Zusammenfassung: | For a needle-type-electrode structure of multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCC), its capacitance was approximately estimated, based on the general definition of capacitance. The result of the estimation is given as a function of needle thickness, distance between the needle electrodes, and capacitor materials. Numerical estimation is extended to the 2 × 2 and 4 × 4 electrodes case.
