Zusammenfassung:The engineering design of the ITER vacuum vessel (VV) has been undertaken mainly by ITER IT (International Team) with the help of several ITER participant parties. Korea has been involved in the detail design work of the vacuum vessel under the ITA (ITER Transitional Arrangements) task, especially in the field of the manufacturing feasibility of the port and in-wall shielding. In this paper, the current status of ITER vacuum vessel design activities, including in-wall shielding and upper port, performed in Korea is reported. The manufacturability of the VV and in-wall shielding is also investigated, and the results are presented. KCI Citation Count: 5
