Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, the spectral characteristics of red (R), green (G), blue (B) organic light-emitting
diodes (OLEDs) with a pair of (SiO2/TiO2) dielectric layers are studied. Multilayer structures
of small-molecule RGB OLEDs are designed using an optical model. Simulated and measured
electroluminescence spectra, luminous efficiencies, luminances, and CIE chromaticity coordinates
of the RGB OLEDs with (SiO2/TiO2) dielectric layers are compared with those for conventional
RGB OLEDs. The results show that the luminous efficiencies for green and red OLEDs with the
dielectric layers in the forward direction are 1.81 and 1.69 times larger than those for conventional
green and red OLEDs, respectively. Also, the color purity is improved so that the color gamut area
is increased.lication/vnd.m KCI Citation Count: 4 |
