Implementation of Nonlocal Controlled-NOT Gate via a Cavity Input-Output Process
By virtue of a cavity input-output process, we present two schemes to implement a two-qubit nonlocal controlled-NOT (CNOT) gate between two remote atoms. In the first scheme, no detection is required and the incoming photon remains unchanged when it is output. In the second scheme, the detectors are...

Zusammenfassung: | By virtue of a cavity input-output process, we present two schemes to implement a two-qubit nonlocal controlled-NOT (CNOT) gate between two remote atoms. In the first scheme, no detection is required and the incoming photon remains unchanged when it is output. In the second scheme, the detectors are used, which reduce the path length. The success probabilities of the two schemes approach unity. KCI Citation Count: 0 |
