Zusammenfassung:The behavior of a multilayer ceramic actuator using 0.95(Na0.5K0.5)NbO3-0.5LiTaO3 (NKN-5LT)was investigated under electromechanical loading. When an electric field and compressive stress are simultaneously applied to the actuator, a peculiar performance different from that of an actuator induced by only one quantity, an electric field or a mechanical load was observed.
