Zusammenfassung: | This paper uses carrier theory to analyze the carriers’ movement under a poling field and the distributions of the carriers in fused silica. A depletion region consisted of a H

layer is formed during the poling process, and the thickness of the depletion layer and its location inside the silica are calculated. The calculations are consistent with the experimental published results and demonstrate that the surface field of a sample is an important factor influencing the thickness and the position of the depletion during poling. |
