Zusammenfassung:The challenges in microstrip antenna for achieving desired gain, bandwidth and/or the product is opening the new dimension of research. Variation of either the patch or substrate or both help to design an antenna with desired resonant frequency and gain. In this work, authors propose a single layer simple rectangular 4X4 planar array with different substrate materials to improve the gain. The dimension of the antenna structure is considered as 0.89 × 0.89 × 0.0508 cm 3 .Initially, it has been proposed and verified for the single array element with PegaClad Series dielectric substrate with the permittivity of 3.45, loss tangent of 0.0034 for Sub6G application. Corporate feed is provided for sustainable radiation. The proposed structure is exhibiting considerable bandwidth at 10.3 GHz with gain of 18.4 dBi with the simple structure. X-Band application including military application, satellite communication, and bio-medical is found suitable. The gain and bandwidth of this array is found excellent that satisfies the simulated result in case of fabricated one.
