Zusammenfassung:A new species belonging to genus Holostrophus (Coleoptera: Tetratomidae), Holostrophus (Holostrophus) koreanus sp. nov. is described from Korea. We provide description, photographs of adults, and line drawings of the diagnostic characteristics for a new species. Also, a key to Korean Holostrophus is provided. •A new species of Holostrophus (Coleoptera: Tetratomidae) is described from Korea.•Previously, two species of Holostrophus is reported in Korea.•A key to species of Korean Holostrophus and description, photographs of adults, and line drawings of the diagnostic characteristics for a new species are provided.
