Being God’s image : Biblical ethics and the care of creation

Contemplates the Church's imperative to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth, based on the biblical understanding of God as Creator and humanity as the imago Dei – the created beings that bear the image of God, living as God’s representatives within creation to serve creation. Considers in this regard the ethical criteria on which human activity for the care of creation can be based.
