Use of mating disruption for control of New Zealand leafroller in apple orchards

Reports on trials evaluating the use of leafroller mating disruption using a pheromone blend with activity against three species in 12 Hawke's Bay apple orchards over two seasons (2009-2010 and 2010-2011). Describes results from trials to determine the efficacy of leafroller mating disruption and the development of monitoring systems that might be required to manage any incipient risks of leafroller damage or fruit infestation in pheromone-treated orchards.
