Autisitc spectrum disorder : caseload characteristics, and interventions implemented by speech-language therapists

Investigates the characteristics of caseloads for therapists and the types of interventions they used for children with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). Distributes a survey to 75 speech-language therapists working in special education with the Ministry of Education. Identifies the intervention strategies used and the frequency with which specific interventions were employed. Discusses each in turn, their perceived effectiveness, and the respondents' training for working with children with ASD.
