Phylogeny of the caddisfly (trichoptera) family hydrobiosidae using larval and adult morphology, with the description of a new genus and species from Fiordland, New Zealand

Examines the classification of the mainly Gondwanan caddisfly family Hydrobiosidae in a cladistic analysis of its 49 genera plus the four outgroup genera Agapetus, Glossosoma, Oxyethira, and Rhyacophila from the three most closely-related families. Describes 'Erichorema basale' (Hydrobiosidae : Hydrobiosinae) from NZ. Includes a data matrix of characters scored for phylogenetic analysis of the Hydrobiosidae.
