ICT is worth the time & effort

Identifies some of the challenges schools face in ICT education and introduces common features observed in primary schools in Auckland, Tauranga and Christchurch who are successfully delivering ICT programmes. Discusses the importance of positive leadership, knowledgeable and enthusiastic teachers, professional support for teachers, an educated and reflective philosophy to thinking and learning within the school, and a supportive community for achieving successful ICT education.
