Zusammenfassung:The occurrence of the Asian tramp snail Bradybaena similaris (Ferussac, 1821) is reported from a tropical greenhouse in Burgers’ Zoo near Arnhem, The Netherlands, where the species has been present at least since 2002. The snail was introduced unintentionally from an unknown source, probably with plant material. The morphology of the genitalia is compared with descriptions in the literature from Brazil and Nosi-Be island (Madagascar). This appears to be the first European record for the species
