Zusammenfassung: | Model computations show that changes of sampling interval introduce only 0.3 cm changes, whereas zero padding provides an improvement of more than 5 cm in the fast Fourier transformation (FFT) generated geoid. For the Global Positioning System (GPS) survey of Franklin County, Ohio, the parameters selected as a result of model computations, allow large reduction in local data requirements while still retaining the cm accuracy when tapering and padding is applied. The results are shown in tables. |
