The type is easy on the eyes, and most of the figures and tables are excellent, although a few seem unduly detailed for this setting (e.g., in the section on metabolic diseases, the table on aminoacidopathies covers five pages of small type). The style is clear, the editing has been good, and there is a list of selected references at the end of each section that helpfully includes a sentence or two . . .
