Effect of Dietary Consistency on the Bone Mineral of Mandible and Femur in the Growing Rat -By X-ray Fluorescence Analysis

It is well known that among the various elements found in the bones ofrats at the growing stage. The object of this experiment was to study, we fed in the growing stage diet of varying hardness and studies the effect on mineral content in the mandible and femur. We used female rats fed on three different hardness diet. The calcium and phosphorus contents in the sample were analyzed quantitatively using an X-ray fluorescent analyzer.
