Report of the International Symposium on Medical Care and Ergonomics, JES System Conference 2022

[1. Outline of the symposium] The International Symposium on Medical Care and Ergonomics was organized at the 35th JES System Conference in March 2022. The symposium included a keynote and six presentations in Table 1. Figure 1 shows an online meeting with chairs and presenters at the get together meeting just before the symposium. This report describes the background and motive for organizing the symposium and its contribution to ergonomics. A summary of each presentation is reported on a separate page. [2. Homage to Professor E. Grandjean] The first edition of Professor E. Grandjean's book "Fitting the task to the man" was published in 1969. Going through a number of editions, it gained new things, leading to his creation of the academic framework of ergonomics.
