Development of human serum phosphoglyceric acid mutase isoenzyme protein assay by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and its application to clinical evaluations of acute myocardial infarction
We have developed methods to measure human PGAM-MM by microplate EIA, and have found the protein contents of PGAM-MM and PGAM-BB to be linearly proportional to OD (405 nm) up to 0-18 ng/ml and 0-120 ng/ml. Both PGAM-MM and PGAM-MB increased with time, reaching a peak within 9 to 12 hours after AMI....

Zusammenfassung: | We have developed methods to measure human PGAM-MM by microplate EIA, and have found the protein contents of PGAM-MM and PGAM-BB to be linearly proportional to OD (405 nm) up to 0-18 ng/ml and 0-120 ng/ml. Both PGAM-MM and PGAM-MB increased with time, reaching a peak within 9 to 12 hours after AMI. It is also noteworthy that many AP patients exhibited higher PGAM-MM protein levels than those in normal healthy subjects. There was a correlation between PGAM-MM protein levels and both CK-MB activity and TnT levels at r=0.8940 and 0.7620. |
