Zusammenfassung: | (Summary)Zinc has an important role in the body. We believe that discovering the factors that cause flucutuations in the amounts of zinc in the body will eventually lead to the key of health promotion. In this study, the relationships of serum zinc with values of blood components were evaluated in 1,655 healthy Japanese men. Serum zinc was closely correlated with each parameter of ChE, T-Ch, RBC, Ht and Hb. These parameters are related to the nutritional state such as energy, protein, fat, and exercise. Therefore, the results of this study are considered to indicate that serum zinc is affected by external factors such as nutritional intake and exercise. On the other hand, the age may play a role in the relationship of serum zinc with parameters of the hepatic function, and internal changes in biological functions are also considered to affect the relationship. |
