Zusammenfassung:「Abstract」The male of Simulium dasguptai Datta is described for the first time based on an adult male reared from a pupa collected from Darjeeling, India, and this species is transferred from the subgenus Simulium (Nevermannia) to S. (Montisimulium). The male of this species is compared with those of five related species originally described from India, Myanmar and Thailand.
