Zusammenfassung: | Nocturnal occurrence pattern of male chironomid midges attracted to a black-light was examined throughout the night from Aug. 21-22, 1996. The number of midges was large at dusk and at dawn, and was small during the night both in terms of species and individuals. There were several occurrence patterns. Tanytarsus arduennensis was captured at dusk whereas Paramerina divisa and Smittia akanduodec-ima were mainly captured at dawn. Parametriocnemus stylatus and Polypedilum tamanigrum were captured from dusk to dawn. |
