Zusammenfassung: | Eleven cases of tumor in the posterior fossa, seen in recent years were reported. These cases consisted of 2 acoustic tumors, 2 meningiomas, 2 metastatic tumors and 1 each of astrocytoma, ependymoma, medulloblastoma, reticulosarcoma, and cyst. The diagnosis of these cases was made in each by operative findings or autopsies. From the neuro-otological point of view, each cases are discussed during pre- and postoperative course. For localizing the lesion, neuro-otological findings were exceedingly useful in all cases. This examination gave only objective finding for three of L1 cases. Authers emphasize that neuro-otological examination contributes to estimate the impairment of brain stem or postoperative conditin upon the posterior fossa tumors. |
