Zusammenfassung:The brachial vertebral angiography have been doing in Department of neurosurgery, Sapporo Medical College and Hospital to examine the cause of vertigo in case of neck lesion extensively. The two cases who showed strong angiospasm of vertebral artery are reported with their angiogram. The angiospasm in 1st case was limited in the division between the bifurcation point from subclavian artery and C_6 level of left vertebral artery and this angiospasm was reversible by xylocain block of stellate ganglion. The 2nd case showed strong angiospasm in whole extend of left vertebral artery, while patients head rotated to left side. These vertebral angiospasm was also reversible after xylocain block of stellate gaglion. The value of vertebral angiography should be emphasized in case of neck lesion. particularly in case who has strong vertigo.
