Zusammenfassung: | At the 17th meeting of the Japan Neurosurgical Society, the following findings were reported; 1) Br existed even in the normal cerebrospinal fluid and blood fluid. 2) In case of brain tumor and head injury Br contained more than normal value, and 3) in epilepsy Br was lower in value than in normal cases. At this meeting, the following facts found in experiments on animals were reported: 1. There is a tendency that Br quantity in cerebrospinal fluid decreases during convulsive seizure in cases of brain tumor. 2. Br quantity in cerebrospinal fluid decreases when epileptics are affected by cardiazol. 3. Br quantity decreases in cerebrospinal fluid when treaed by electro-shock, while it increases in case of insulin treatment. 4. It was found by experiments on animals that Br quantity in brain substance decreases as Br quantity in cerebrospinal fluid varies. The system of variation on Br quantity of brain tumor cases was examined. |
