Zusammenfassung:O_2 concentration of brain tissue by experimenting head injuries mainly by means of poralography was examined. The folowing facts were found: 1. O_2 concentration of brain tissue decreased soon after the brain was injured at the normal thermia. 2. O_2 concentration of brain tissue was less than normal, when brain was injured. 3. When O_2 was supplied, the degree on decrease of O_2 concentration of the injured portion was relieved. 4. In case of poralography, variation on O_2 concentration of brain tissue injured at the hypothermia was small. 5. When O_2 is supplied during hypothermia anesthia, O_2 concentration of brain tissue decreased and seemed advantageous. 6. When O_2 concentration of the portion of normal brain, surroundings of injured brain, and the portion of injured brain was measured, it was revealed that the degree of decrease of O_2 concentration of brain tissue among hypothermia group was lower than among normal thermia group.
