Zusammenfassung:The experimental brain tumor produced by 20-methylcholanthren pellet was classified as Meningioma, Astrocytoma, Astroblastoma, Intermediate type of Astroblastoma and Glioblastoma, Proliferation of Astrocytes, Proliferation of Subependymal Astrocytes, Proliferation of Ependym-Cells, and others. In all of these cases, invasion of Tripan-blue in tumor tissue was observed with a different degree of bluing. This was the case in which the tumor tissue was not yet clearly identified. Interesting results were obtained following the injection of member of TCA cycle, Ammonia, Acetylcholine, etc., concerning the B.B.B. and E.E.G. Citrate evoked marked changes in E.E.G., which, however, was quite different from Fluoroacetate. There was some evidence, which suggests that B.B.B. is not to be interpreted as a mechanical, static process, but as a dynamical one. Fraction of organic P compounds in the brain tissue as revealed by Collum Chromatography presented quite peculier findings, with low ADP and ATP. The turnover rate of P^32 may not to be ascribed to the B.B.B. in a mechanical sense, but may be a phenomenon referable to these findings.
