Sozialisationsinstanzen in den Werdegängen von Musikstudierenden: Eine komparative Studie in China und der Schweiz

This article presents results of a comparative study of the influence of socializationagents on musical talent development. Interviews with tertiary level instrumentalstudents in China and Switzerland provide the empirical data. The article focuseson patterns of differences found between the Chinese and Swiss study groups andanalyzes these against the background of country-specific education and supportstructures, culture-specific values, and other societal factors.
