Els fons musicals de Catalunya : estat de la qüestió

In this study, Professors Gregori and Rifé offer the work carried out by both of them as well as their team of collaborators, students of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) for the recovery of the Catalan musical heritage which is of great value to our researchers. After analyzing the work done by the former Centre de Documentació Musical, of the UAB, the Institut de Documentació i Investigació Musicològiques Josep Ricart i Matas and the team formed by Maria Ester Sala and Josep Maria Vilar points out the importance of the RISM-Spain in the compilation of the funds of the Archive of the Crown of Aragón, Archive of the Kingdom of Mallorca, Archive of the Cathedral of Tortosa and the Cathedral of the La Seu d’Urgell. Under the auspices of the Musicology Institute «Josep Ricart i Matas», the Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts de St. Jordi and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the team directed by Professors Gregori and Rifé started the Inventory of the Musical Funds of Catalonia, of which they offer an account in this report, followed by the methodological process used, the pre-inventory, the first records and compilation together with the literary and musical incipits.
