Zusammenfassung:By applying object-based analysis and content analysis to 203 Lego® minifgures, this survey explores how they mirror preconceptions based on professions (ergotypes), involvement in sport activities (kinetypes), and transitory states (stigmatypes). The underlying premise is that the fgurines participate in the creation and intensifcation of stereotypes. Ultimately, this paper suggests that these action fgures make solid attempts to 'dollify' human diversity.
