Impact of the COVID19 lockdown measures on food access in the Kampala city region, Uganda - Rapid response brief prepared for city managers by Food4Cities

Understanding the formal and informal food systems in Kampala has recently become very relevant as the Ugandan government locked down most street activity due to COVID19. The mobility of food vendors and households is an important part of the urban food system. This report aims to supply city managers with information about the impacts of the pandemic on the city food system and who is likely to be most affected. Please note that the results mentioned in this brief are part of a preliminary analysis and that full results are forthcoming.
