Government and social partner cooperation in VET: From dialogue to partnership. ETF Workshop recommendations from the perspectives of governance and trust

In this brief discussion paper, we will focus on the results of the European Training Foundation (ETF) workshop on government and social partner cooperation in Vocational Education and Training (VET), which took place in Turin on 21-21 June. Our paper will consider the ETF workshop recommendations from the perspective of two particular frameworks: - VET social partnership from a governance perspective - VET social partnership from a trust perspective First, we provide a brief conceptual outline of a framework for governance, and discuss the recommendations with respect to this perspective. Second, we present a conceptual framework of interorganisational trust, and consider the recommendations from this perspective.
