Magnetothermal release of payload from iron oxide/silica drug delivery agents

© 2016 Published by Elsevier B.V. The release of covalently bound Rhodamine B from iron oxide/mesoporous silica core/shell nanoparticles under magnetically induced heating was studied. The system acts as a model to study drug delivery and payload release under magnetothermal heating.
