Zusammenfassung:Non-contact ultrasound, generated by piezoelectric elements, can be used for NDT quality control of very diverse materials. In order to perform quality control at production speed, multiple ultrasonic elements are combined into an autonomous module with processing on-board. Providing synchronization capabilities to each module allows to merge multiple modules into a larger, modular measurement system, without reducing processing power or speed. This results into a highly flexible and scalable system that can be adapted to the specific testing environment.
