First, the basic features are shown including basic calculations, plotting. and use of the spreadsheet. Next, several examples in the field of fluid mechanics, a network of pipes, unit operations, a cooling tower, process analysis, the development of mass and energy balances to the production of ammonia and nitric acid including recycles, reactor operation and separation process, and equipment design such as multi-effect evaporator system, are solved with a clear presentation of the problem and how to implement and solve it with EXCEL®
