The Timely Arbitrator: Reflections on the Böckstiegel Method

FRIENDS OF Karl-Heinz Bockstiegel remark that it is almost impossible to imagine him in an embarrassing situation. He seems always to find himself in the right place at the right time, and, perhaps more importandy, never in the wrong place at the wrong time. The key to this phenomenon is to be found in two words: anticipation and planning. These concepts are not difficult to understand. They are simply hard to implement.
