Zusammenfassung: | The leiomyosarcoma of small intestine are uncommon disease and have no specific symptoms and signs. Almost all cases were not diagnosed by radiologic study and other methods until operation. Five cases of small bowel leiomyosarcomas was treated at Department af surgery, Hanil Hospital i n the last 10 years, from July, 1983 to April, 1992. These tumors are generally well encapsulated, firm, but often soft if they undergo hemorrhagic necrosis. small intestine leiomyosarcoma are prevalent in around fifth and sixth decades of life. Clinical finding was nonspecific, including abdominal pain, gastrointestinal bleeding, abdominal mass, fever and chill. differentiation of these tumor from benign leiomyoma is very difficult. the presented cases was confirmed by pathologic examination with mitosis on High Power Field. The malignant characteristic presented cases was treated with wide resection & immunotheraphy. |
